Mission

Más Allá [mahs ah-yah], spanish for "beyond," is a values driven, community-centered, fundraising consulting firm focused on closing funding gaps by raising revenue for and with women and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) people across the U.S. and practicing how to resource our communities through regenerative strategies.

Vision

Más Allá is committed to living in a more just and equitable world and one where women and BIPOC communities are embraced and resourced.

Our vision is influenced by the 10 principles of Community-Centric Fundraising and Just Transition Framework.

Today’s Challenges

Historically in the United States, funding entities have underinvested in organizations led by people of color. “In the nonprofit world, only 8% of funds go to organizations led by people of color, and in private venture capital, it’s only 1%” (Decolonizing Wealth, Edgar Villanueva, pg 5).

Más Allá is changing that.

Our practice operates with a steadfast commitment to upholding culture and building a society that is inclusive of all people; especially the communities that have long been disenfranchised in the United States. We challenge ourselves and others to go Más Allá - to go beyond the status quo of traditional fundraising and to reimagine practices that better serve and strengthen our communities.
